Teacher Spotlight: This week, we shine the light on Mrs. Sheppard

Question: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Answer: I enjoy gardening, reading and church activities.
Q: How many siblings do you have?
A: 3 brothers. No sisters.
Q: Where did you teach before BMS?
A: Brunswick High School.
Q: What grade levels?
A: Grades ranging 7-11th
Q: What other schools have you taught at?
A: All years at Brunswick.
Q: Why did you want to be a 6th grade teacher?
A: Middle school students seem to be more enthusiastic.
Q: What is your favorite thing about teaching?
A: I love the kids!
Q: Do you like working at BMS?
A: Yes, loved all my years in Brunswick.
Q: What advice would you give middle schoolers to help them get good grades and have a good school year?
A: Come to class prepared with paper, pencil, and materials.
Q: What are some things you do in your classroom to keep your kids on track?
A: Start with a warm-up to get focused, and ask students to face me for instruction.
