Welcome to the Food Review! Here we will do a bi-weekly food review about some of the hottest places to eat! This week we will talk Rita’s Italian Ice.
Rita’s dates back to the summer of 1984, where Bob Tumolo, a former firefighter, wanted to earn more money to support his home in Bensalem, Pa. He opened an Italian ice business and named the business after his wife, Rita.
The nearest Rita’s is located at 538 W. South Street in Frederick, MD 21701.
There are lots to choose from at Rita’s! Some things on the menu are: Italian Ice, Blendinis, Misto, and Frozen Custard!
