Editorial: Where Have You Gone,Spirit Week?
by: Katie A.
Students in this school, mostly seventh and eight graders, are wondering: why haven’t we had a spirit week yet?
For sixth graders who don’t know what spirit week is, it is one week where students are encouraged to dress accordingly to that day’s theme. It provides a way for students of all grades to express their personality, and have fun in the same way. Most people look forward to these special days.
However, for some unknown reason, we have not had one spirit week this school year. Spirit days are important ways to address school spirit and character. It provides ways for people to express themselves but support the school. Some of these days include: Red, White and Blue day; Hat day; Jersey day; Twin day; Crazy Hair day; Clash day; Plaid day and Burgundy and Gold day.
So, if this sounds interesting to you, talk to your grade’s SGA representative
