Have you ever worn you pajamas inside out, or slept with spoons under your pillow, just to try to make it snow? Most of us have when we really wanted a snow day, but truth is, it really doesn’t work. As much as we wish it would work, the temperature is what makes it snow. Even though we all know this, we still do the silly “rituals” to try to make it snow. This is kind of like wishing on 11:11, or a shooting star, or birthday candles, and even breaking a wish bone. Sometimes it works out of luck, but most times it doesn’t. They are just superstitions that we wish were true.
There are a ton of things to do when the snow is here. You can ski, snowboard, sled, ice skate, build igloos, shovel, jump in it, etc. Whatever you choose to do, the day will still be fun, whether you wished for snow or it just happened because of natural causes. Hopefully we will get a snow day for school.
When the snow is 4ft, you can’t really do anything, you just sink. When it’s 5 inches or less, then it’s perfect for snow time fun!
