Mrs. Botker was born in Fairfield, Pennsylvania. Her favorite subject was math. Her first job was being a lifeguard at the Emmitsburg pool. Her advice is “Prior planning prevents poor performance”. She started teaching in 1986. Her hobbies are reading, playing the piano, singing, playing the hand bells, shopping with daughter, vacationing at beach, going to daughters volley ball games, and conducting the hand bell choir. Her daughters are Kara (18)and Erin (17). Her favorite drink is a raspberry mocha at Starbucks. Her favorite book is Help. She prefers pop music and likes to watch the Phantom of the Opera.
