IPad… What is it?
by: Mackenzie W.
Most of you have heard about the iPad, but what is it? Some say it’s just the same as the iPod touch, but is it really or are they just saying that?
The iPad is indeed an oversized iPod touch, but it’s better! You can get on the internet to download games, music and even books! It can go anywhere… to the beach, on an airplane, on a car trip, even to summer camp! You may be thinking “OK. Why an oversized iPod touch?” Well, let’s say there is a little old lady in Best Buy. She would like to purchase an iPod touch, but can’t read the screen because it is too small for her to see it. A Best Buy employee helps her by showing her the iPad and explaining to her that it is just like the iPod touch. She goes off and buys it. You might say “that’s good for an old lady, but what about me?” Well, it is a great way to read a book, play fun games, and take notes in class.
Although some view the iPad as a larger iPod touch, it’s clearly much more than that. Decide for yourself if the iPad is right for you.
Facebook Frenzy

Most people already have a facebook page. If you don’t then I think it’s about time you ask for your parent’s permission to get one. Facebook is a website that allows you to tell your friends what you are doing, and lots more. Facebook is a great way to connect with friends and family especially if they live far away. You can also comment on people’s status and photos. After you’re done that, you can play games, take quizzes, and also read your horoscope.
For your safety, don’t just sit there and add everyone, but only the people you know and are friends with. Also, remember you can not access facebook at school. So go to facebook.com (with your parent’s permission of course!) and get an account today to start chatting, messaging, and commenting with your friends.
