This is the sensation sweeping the nation. Some say that this product is starting to become so popular because they are cheep in a crazy market, though there is some rising controversy about banning them from schools. They are popping up everywhere.
These simple silicone bracelets are found everywhere from elementary school all the way up to high school and beyond. They have been banned from schools everywhere because they are claimed to be found as a distraction. Instead of people paying attention to the teacher or work that they are supposed to be doing they are focusing there attention elsewhere, commonly they are distracted trading, counting, and whatever else they can do with them. Therefore schools locally and nation wide are starting to ban these things. Even as close as West Fredrick middle school they are collecting these small elastic bands that have swept the nation.
These small bands have also been creatively designed to break easily and get lost. The idea is clamed to have started in china with the shaping of silicone, though these toys have quickly become obsessive. Some parents even pay extra money for new silly bands.
Some people say that this toy is dangerous! One doctor is concerned that maybe these simple bands can cut the circulation in your arm off. It also becomes more dangerous when the child falls asleep one medical specialist says. A symptom of bad effects of these bands is a deep indent in the skin.
