Russell Westbrook is in his 3rd year with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He is a super athletic point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He is a great defender and a good rebound for a point guard. He is lacking the mid-to-long range jumper he needs to be a star in the NBA. This season his jumper is looking much smoother and he is averaging a career high 23.6 points per game. He is currently leading the Thunder in Assists with 8.6 a game. He is part of OKC’s Dynamic duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook is having his best year statistically and is helping his team more then ever.
He has new found confidence in his ability to score after the Fiba world championships in Europe. Where he showed his ability to score as the team’s starting point guard. On that team he practiced with Kevin Durant which possibly helped their chemistry for the 2010-2011 season.
