We chose Elizabeth Y. (referred to as Liz) because she is a super student and a fabulous friend. She is in 7th grade, and is 12 years old. Her birthday is May 6th. She does track and volleyball. She has one sister named Melanie, and she has one brother named Carson. Liz’s favorite class is math. One of her favorite things to do is hang out with friends. She loves Fajitas and Pupusas. (This if you did not know is a type of Mexican food) Her favorite part of the school day is lunch, recess and advisory. When Liz gets older she wants to be a teacher. This is Liz’s first year at this school and she is already showing her positive attitude. She is one of the many people to get 7th grade’s student of the term, and has also gotten recognized for he 4-square ability. Liz is a wonderful girl and that is why she is recognized with being our Student Spotlight.
